3-1-12 Photo of the Day

I saw this father and daughter on my way home yesterday, and I thought she was the cutest little thing. She is standing on her scooter and is being pushed sort of while her dad walks all while holding a conversation... I know because I could hear her for a little bit away. I cropped the image little and it was taken with the GRD IV.

  1. Lovely street shot. Looks great.

  2. That is a nice image... father and daughter etc. Full respect for the hat too. Are you finding that you are missing the narrower depth of field available on your Nikon? Personally, I like a large DoF on street shots, so the Ricoh is good for me.

  3. Thanks guys,

Bill to be honest when shooting in the street I tend to keep my aperture at about F4 unless its really sunny then I close it down to F8 or F11 but with the Ricoh I notice that its not as sensitive to light as I want it to be and I have to either crank up the ISO or open up my aperture so I find myself opening up the aperture because the camera isn't great at ISO above 400.
