Back to summer time =) also its been really crappy here cold, damp so not so much fun going out and shooting. I know I should and Im sure I will get some great images but I haven't. This was taken over the summer at the Jurassic coast in the UK... you can find tons of fossils plus its a beautiful area to spend the day... I think it took about three hours to get here from London.
I am wondering if you can make a kind of martin parrislike photographs over there. Is it near Exmouth?
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, Gerry. I like the huge expanse of blue and the position of the couple, ambiguous certainly what the body language here suggests, if anything, perhaps just a momentary distraction, maybe more. There's an emotional punch to it.
ReplyDeleteI hear you about the cold & damp--we've been having some of that here in Oregon and it discourages me from going out everyday as well. I do like this shot of yours. Nice dynamic combination of the rock wall aggregate and the ripples on the water. The two differing people postures add something interesting, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone, I like the people in the shot and I purposely put them in the bottom left side.. the guys seems like he couldnt be bothered and she looks like she could be upset with him. He could be looking at the beach but even in the summer time its not warm enough for bikinis so I know he isnt looking at that lol. If you guys ever come to England you have to hit this area.
ReplyDeleteS.C I have no idea where this is near, a friend drove me to this place but i will find out and let you know.
Lovely wide open shot. Well composed with the two peeps in the corner. Nice and sunny outlook. Its a lovely part of England for sure.
