I first noticed the uniform and her position and I liked how relaxed she looked. After I took this shot I smiled and she gave me a big smile and I felt good knowing I didn't piss off yet another person by taking their picture lol. The intense look on her face is due to the sun those causing her to squint. This was taken at Hyde park yesterday morning.
Nice natural expression.
ReplyDeleteI have only upset a couple of people so far. One asked me to delete the shot (which I did). The other said a few unpleasant things to me, to which I said nothing, smiled and pretended to be a foreign tourist. lol
Hey Bill, I read this about ten minuets after I photographed a guy and he came after me because I photographed him lol. He was a nut case and really not threatening but I kept my full attention on him. Like you I have had one other person ask me to delete the image I took of them of which I did. It's part of being a street photographer .. =)
ReplyDeleteHaha, that's why you don't see many people in my collection :-) I'd like to, just too shy about doing it...Nice shot, though!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot Gerry - Good to know you didn't get beat up!!
ReplyDeleteHey Mike... to be honest I could tell he wasn't all there and I should have not photographed him. It was stupid on my part... normally I have more sense then that. For the most part people don't care or at least don't react in a wild way.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nick =) maybe I need a good butt kicking these days .....
ReplyDeleteI like her attitude and pose. At first I thought - what's a girl doing in school uniform in August? School's out for summer (to quote Alice Cooper). But then I looked closer and saw the logo on her blouse, so it's obviously a work uniform. But she does remind me of a school girl - it's that squint. She seems to have a teenage "Yeah, and..." attitude.
