1-26-12 Photo of the Day

I shot this over the summer ... I was extremely close to him I used a wide angle lens I think it was shot at 18mm or it could be 24mm, with such a wide lens I was pointing it out the window but still got him in the shot which is what I wanted. He was wearing earphones so couldn't hear my camera click well at least thats what I think lol.  Im starting to show older images because Im trying to build up some newer photos and Im changing my style a little and so far Im not producing images that I can be posted on this site.  I will get there hopefully =)

  1. A beautiful crowded composition. I find it sometimes difficult to get a picture crowded with an real wide lens but you had no problem so I see. Well done. Now I am ager to see what kind of style you are developing .

  2. Good morning! I thought this was a collage with the two different scenes and the window frame in the middle. I like this! I wonder what he's listening to, he seems pretty intense!

LOL about comments and followers...I don't know, I like visiting blogs and leaving comments that I was there. I started out my blog by reading Paris Daily Photo and then decided eventually that it would be fun to join in with the City Daily Photo. I get visitors from there or also the photo themes that I've just recently started playing along with. I guess that's how you get visitors. You should join City Daily Photo. I think you would like it!

I'm interested to see you new style :)

  4. That is striking how the wide angle "magnifies" the gentleman on the bus relative to the background figures. Excellent.

  5. Very creative shot, Ger. I like the two scenes - makes you wonder what's going on in each. Nice moment.

  6. Very different and creative shot, Gerry. It really looks like you merged to shots and made them one. Really makes the viewer take a second look and think. It works really well.

  7. Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments as for my new style its hard to explain and I hope it shows but its going to be even a little longer before I start to show any images, that don't look like crap. My hours of shooting has been compromised greatly so my main shooting time will be on the weekends but thats fine ... forces me to use any available time. I love using my wide angle lens when in a crowd .... people have no idea where Im pointing my camera =)
