3-29-12 Photo of the Day

I shot this a few weeks ago, this is at a tube stop, and I saw her as my train pulled up.  I made sure my camera was on and ready to fire as soon as the doors opened.  I knew I had a small window to take the shot before she objected to her photo being taken.  I was lucky I got the shot then she raised her arms telling me not to take her photo.  I smiled, thanked her and walked away.

3-28-12 Photo of the Day

Shot this on Sunday at the London Wetlands, it was shot around three in the afternoon, not a good time of day for photography but in London when its sunny out ... you have to take advantage and soak in all the wonderful sun.  I used my Nikon D300 with my 70-200 2.8 lens  

3-27-12 Photo of the Day

Shot on the bus on my way home on Wed of last week.  I shot it with one hand and not really looking at the back of the camera to compose the image.  I shot it with the GRD IV .... I like to shoot at the back of the bus, most of the seats are really close to each other and with the GRD its small and doesnt make any noise so easy to take images of people in a natural state.

Tube riders on a Friday afternoon.... on my way to the Doctors office after my back giving out on me =(   Im feeling much better but not back to 100%.  London trains are so clean!!!  small but clean =)

This was shot in NYC, about five years ago at a place called Spanky's its a BBQ place... a must go if you are ever in NYC.  This was before my street photography days, I would photograph anything and everything....I was a photojournalist at the time so when not working, I tended not to photograph people, what a big mistake =(  Oh well have a great weekend everyone..

Here is a shot I took a few weeks ago while on a photo walk with CC a fellow blogger. It was taken at Queens Market in London ...  I exposed for the faces and I like how the light falls off around the image.  I shot this with my D300 and the 24-85 2.8-4 lens.  

3-21-12 Photo of the Day

People doing food shopping and taking mass transit home is a common site in London.  Parking is almost none existent and where there is parking it's normally expensive.  People hop on a bus or tube (train) and go do a few days worth of food shopping at a time.  I took this on my way home from work with the Ricoh GRD IV.
