Well its been a long time since I posted to this blog. Life has changed dramatically, my photo interest have changed as well as how I see things. Im no longer living in London England, Im back home in the US of A. Obviously Im older, I have no choice in that, my street photography is none existent now ... actually my time to take photos has dwindled down to almost nothing, which explains why I haven't posted for a while. <br />
The blog will take a new direction, I will leave the old stuff up but now this blog will be more about how Im feeling with photos attached, as appose to photos with a little bit of writing.<br />
My photo interest these days are more of Portraiture then street photos. I have a muse and she is beyond awesome =) She is more than a muse, because her influence has changed how I think over all not just in an artistic way. Her images will be posted but I will withhold her name... Again this blog is going to be about how Im feeling not necessarily about photos, but I will post images because that is a big part of my life. Below is my muse and you will be seeing lots of her.<br />

I shot this on my way to work a while ago, I was feeling a little gloom and this photo somehow to me reflects that feeling. The sitting alone in a room with other people. Like most photographers I take photos that relate to how I'm feeling or my interest.Gerry's Bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03636022503749291150noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7976688286767500064.post-37496946812618745832012-05-01T23:00:00.004-07:002012-05-01T23:00:53.199-07:005-2-12 Photo of the Day<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Rent-a-bike.... I love this concept, if you need to get across town and its a sunny day why not ride your bike then drop it off tube it back if you like. My only concern with this is people tend not to wear helmets... but it makes for some cool looking photos. This is shot on Marylebone high street using my nikon D300 with sigma 30mm 1.4 lens. Plus I went to Paris for a two day trip of just photography. It was wonderful... I love traveling with my family but being able to just do photography the whole time was outstanding.... I love the cigarette hanging from her mouth, I think that makes the photo for me.Gerry's Bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03636022503749291150noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7976688286767500064.post-83460619318390651032012-04-03T22:56:00.000-07:002012-04-03T22:56:06.717-07:004-4-12 Photo of the Day<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCjwMAurg2xiSZP1Bkze-jyuPIRvdNufhkSHFyW0bzZfmxG1kdpir_HUYwWqNzDiyBUK35mGS1OvPsyqlbIV44GKRSxiH0_mv-NxUkLrFDeA_tlxIUGEMJslSgqA1Zf7xcimbgRuw4v88L/s1600/_GLN3503-Edit.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCjwMAurg2xiSZP1Bkze-jyuPIRvdNufhkSHFyW0bzZfmxG1kdpir_HUYwWqNzDiyBUK35mGS1OvPsyqlbIV44GKRSxiH0_mv-NxUkLrFDeA_tlxIUGEMJslSgqA1Zf7xcimbgRuw4v88L/s320/_GLN3503-Edit.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>I always wonder what these girls do at Hen Parties, is it similar to the guys party ... maybe not as wild or wilder humm anyway shot on Saturday, not such a beautiful day but not horrible either.Gerry's Bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03636022503749291150noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7976688286767500064.post-33771708704556544782012-04-01T23:27:00.000-07:002012-04-01T23:27:20.161-07:004-2-12 Photo of the Day<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDFR8H6WPx11BDuKF71ZgR9GG3rvSlFN2viwhyphenhyphenjz2L7Mljf8NBg96T1fUoBUQ9WquVNtMblXD7l4PNAmY1y4H-SSIIqCg3gv6_nUV3hBKp75tKxCNkZmnrKfnpViHK2n7Gli4ikalyjv8x/s1600/_0010766-Edit.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDFR8H6WPx11BDuKF71ZgR9GG3rvSlFN2viwhyphenhyphenjz2L7Mljf8NBg96T1fUoBUQ9WquVNtMblXD7l4PNAmY1y4H-SSIIqCg3gv6_nUV3hBKp75tKxCNkZmnrKfnpViHK2n7Gli4ikalyjv8x/s320/_0010766-Edit.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Went to the Gettyimages Gallery in London over the weekend, They have a great photo exhibit on Marilyn Monroe ....Gerry's Bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03636022503749291150noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7976688286767500064.post-68837277553491787242012-03-28T23:13:00.001-07:002012-03-28T23:14:42.035-07:003-29-12 Photo of the Day<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjesa2XrNiFKl6ooK_2A0pQ-vXqOAF7ibGErB_t4r0l8tfaB8NAaj8B-w87DD_XDFfbWmhckdx6EG-2480xDnuUWVyYbJ0OhK1vhAMIDnx-EhvvUeZ8-eQyKvN9C89fyO7lTQ9DMtz6x0DP/s1600/_GLN2772-Edit.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjesa2XrNiFKl6ooK_2A0pQ-vXqOAF7ibGErB_t4r0l8tfaB8NAaj8B-w87DD_XDFfbWmhckdx6EG-2480xDnuUWVyYbJ0OhK1vhAMIDnx-EhvvUeZ8-eQyKvN9C89fyO7lTQ9DMtz6x0DP/s320/_GLN2772-Edit.jpg" width="212" /></a></div>I shot this a few weeks ago, this is at a tube stop, and I saw her as my train pulled up. I was lucky I got the shot then she raised her arms telling me not to take her photo. I smiled, thanked her and walked away.<br />

I was shooting with the GRD IV and I was trying to pan and it didn't come out but I liked the shot anyway. I cropped a little on the left to put the cab on the left margin and to take away some from the bottom of the image. I hope everyone has a great weekend, be safe and see you all on Monday morning.Gerry's Bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03636022503749291150noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7976688286767500064.post-28151652506894789202012-03-14T23:52:00.000-07:002012-03-14T23:52:53.958-07:003-15-12 Photo of the Day<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeZWE7X7JBihxgQH1iqldEI2ra-fhp63e_pv6dzI1RmuSXmbypUlcJEqY8d3KeOhzL48Q1mTGJmV_V6gek91_MTD2nWRz9SRHhz3LoPEjnXgb4hqUBmtBxq58PyDVEWWByt4Z9NYzebuZW/s1600/_GLN1910-Edit.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeZWE7X7JBihxgQH1iqldEI2ra-fhp63e_pv6dzI1RmuSXmbypUlcJEqY8d3KeOhzL48Q1mTGJmV_V6gek91_MTD2nWRz9SRHhz3LoPEjnXgb4hqUBmtBxq58PyDVEWWByt4Z9NYzebuZW/s320/_GLN1910-Edit.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>This is a great little pub that serves Thai food... if you are like me you would think "What Thai food in a British pub?" Once you get over that, the food is great the atmosphere is wonderful and it's a typical British pub with cool decorations.Gerry's Bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03636022503749291150noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7976688286767500064.post-23232799191940020542012-03-13T23:50:00.000-07:002012-03-13T23:50:32.592-07:003-14-12 Photo of the Day<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmlM2SzvPznuXALbt1_N2Dw0opxAKOirkHV2cJjyRR4vY4do5u1p5JX1CwMPSlxNNeV2NVwAQnaPRPAgrAUiC18JAVbNXXj6w8UUb5eGzaSRuizymHwku0oI5o79MKHZN8uNr8nuwDOpzY/s1600/_GLN2777-Edit.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmlM2SzvPznuXALbt1_N2Dw0opxAKOirkHV2cJjyRR4vY4do5u1p5JX1CwMPSlxNNeV2NVwAQnaPRPAgrAUiC18JAVbNXXj6w8UUb5eGzaSRuizymHwku0oI5o79MKHZN8uNr8nuwDOpzY/s320/_GLN2777-Edit.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Shot on Sunday by Queens Market using my trusty Nikon D300 =) I love the Ricoh but I love using my Nikon even more....
